I will always remember Wayne singing with my daddy Bobby Clingan, TW Rhodes, Shelby Carter, David Evans and others. They would all get together at our house on North Odom and play music. Oh, can't leave out Nick Ezell. What good times and memories from my childhood. RIP Wayne.

When I 1st met Wayne was when he was dating Linda. I was friends w/ her lil sister Cathy. He was funny & had a great personality even then. I was blessed to have seen & speak w/ him & Linda on different occasions, (mainly delivering the mail ). The first time I met his Son I knew whose child that was! & he had the same warm & precious spirit about him that I knew he had inherited from his Dad & Mom!!!!
His big beautiful smile & heart will be sorely missed!!! May God deeply comfort & bless your family Wayne, the way you've touched so many!!!! Rest in Peace!!!

Corndog, we will miss your visits here in New Mexico. It saddens us of your leaving but we know you have earned your reward. You will be singing and praising God. If we could only be there but by spirit we are there. Prayer and condolences to Shoney and family. We may have never meant family members but he talked about you all. Love to all from Upper Fruitland, NM. Trish Benally

Our memories of Wayne span a time of well over 50 years! We were BHS classmates and part of the 1965 graduating class! On August 3, 1965, Wayne, George Book, and my brother Phil and I all left Louisiana for San Diego and Marine Corps Boot Camp! A journey began that would take us all to Vietnam in early 1966! The bond that we share is eternal and abiding! Prayers for God’s Love, Peace and Comfort for all the family! So long our friend, now Rest In Peace! Semper Fi!
