Obituary of Charles Michael Chadwick

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Charles Michael Chadwick, age 67, are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Carter Cemetery with Bro. Chipper West officiating. Mr. Chadwick, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, at the age of sixty-seven. He retired from General Motors and was known as a “Happy Go Lucky” man. Mr. Chadwick was an avid outdoorsman and shooter; a good gardener; and loved hanging out with his family and friends. Just a simple man who loved life! He is survived by his children, Eric Michael Chadwick of Bastrop, LA, Stephanie Michelle Chadwick of Monroe, LA; siblings, Margaret Stokes of Bastrop, LA, B.J. Jolley of Bastrop, LA, Bobby Stokes of Bastrop, LA, Greg Stokes of Bastrop, LA, Sam Stokes of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Ethan Michael Chadwick, Kayda Dorothy Renee Chadwick, Brelynn Ann Mitchell, Montana Chadwick; great-granddaughter, Sophia Elyce Chadwick; and one great-grandson on the way, Kane Michael Chadwick. Mr. Chadwick is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Gregory Stokes; father, Floyd Stokes; and brother, Jon Stokes.
