I was Mr. David’s neighbor for 18 years while I lived with my parents. He was always a very kind man. He was never bothered by two little girls playing on his bridge. He’d always just smile and wave. Prayers for his family and thank you for raising such a kind and gentle man.

I am so sorry for to hear about the loss of Dave, I served with Dave in Vietnam with strike Recon E-co 1/502nd 101st Airborne Div. 1970-1971. I remember the day April 12, 1971 when he stepped on a booby trap and had to be medevac out. Unfortunately three days later the rest of his team we’re all killed in it attack by the enemy. That booby trap saved his life. He was a true Warrior and Brother of Strike ( Bad Boy) Recon. I will miss Him greatly. Wait for us We will Meet again.

David and I entered the service the same day and ended up in Fort Bliss by nightfall with no hair and green uniforms. I can remember knowing that there was someone with me there that I knew other wise it was not a good day. There was 62 drafted that day and out of that number 61 passed the physical. Lot of good times remembering something that happened on September 9, 1969. My condolence to the family.
