Great memories of Del, while living in Farmington, MI. He loved playing his electric guitar while tapping his feet to what he played. When we all traveled from Columbus OH to Farmington, we stopped at a coffee shop for breakfast. With Del's southern accent, he asked the waitress, "Got any biscuits and gravy?" The waitress replied, "Boy! We're not in the South! So... NO!" There were 3 of us that shared a house together in Farmington.... and each of us took our turns fixing dinner. Del's favorite dish was what he called "Poor man's filet", which was fried hamburger with a bacon wrap. Back at this time, Del had red hair and beard. Del had quite a wit about him and had us laughing constantly. Sad that he passed away... but I know that the Faith he had most definitely set him free from the confines of this world, and he awaits our Lord and Savior to return to take us to our eternal home in the heavenlies. Our paths will cross again, my brother in Christ!
