Funeral services for Mr. Quenton Burchfield, age 92, are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, December 17, 2021, at Cherry Ridge Baptist with Rev. Dennis Hackler officiating. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9 AM until 11 AM service time. Mr. Burchfield is preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Frances Trichell Burchfield; son, Don Quenton Burchfield; parents, Charles Phillip and Lela Mae Burchfield; stepmother, Vida Burchfield; brothers, Charles Phillip Burchfield, Jr., Edward E. Burchfield, Nelson Burchfield; and sister, Mary Ann Nelson. He is survived by his daughters, Jeanette Burchfield Pilbeam Huffman and husband Walter, Janice Burchfield Quick and husband Mike; son, Dennis Burchfield and wife Suzanne; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Burchfield; brothers, Raymond Burchfield, Michael Burchfield; sisters, Phyllis Wilkerson, and husband David, Nancy Ingram, Sherry Moffett, Judy Danysh, Jo Kathy Gilbreath, Penny Brown, and Teresa Blackmon; grandchildren, Paul Burchfield and wife Heather, Jennifer Clark and husband Wayne, Shannon Embanato and husband Joey, Lisa Pilbeam, Telesha Rodriguez, Rachel Slotman and husband Josh, Kristin Burchfield and Brandon Wall, Kara Burchfield; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Burchfield was a man of great character and convictions who loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ above all. He was a lifelong student of the Bible, a prayer warrior, and a soul winner, alongside his beloved wife Mattie. He was a man who knew where he stood on something and was willing to stand his ground on his beliefs without wavering. His deep voice saying "amen" at church will certainly be missed. Family was of utmost importance to him, and he loved his dearly. He was proud of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Heaven is a sweeter place now that he has seen his Savior and been reunited with his beloved wife Mattie.
