Obituary of Nannie Belle Bolton

Funeral services for Nannie Belle Bolton are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Redwing Cemetery, Goodwill, LA. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 11 AM Wednesday morning, prior to the service. Mrs. Bolton, age 84, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 in Lagniappe Healthcare Facility. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her life-long career was taking care of her large family. She was a devout Christian and faithfully read her Bible. She enjoyed taking long walks and growing flowers in her yard. She loved playing games, like cards and dominoes, and watching game shows with her family. She is greatly loved and will be missed. Mrs. Bolton is survived by her daughters, Carrol Sue Woodson, Gloria Hofford and husband Wayne, Kay West and husband Chipper, Mary Ann Bolton and fiancé’ Kenney Craig, Cristie Bolton Gandy, Becky Crews and husband Russell, Keri Middlebrooks and husband James, and Anette Repp and husband Dylan; son, Danny Joe Bolton; 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ida Morris; husband, Henry M. Bolton; brothers, William Morris, Leroy Morris, and Ned Morris; sisters, Lucille Mercer and Florence Murphy; son, Johnny L. Bolton; grandsons, Spc. Jeffery Brasher and Christopher Cook. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey West, Jeremy West, Hunter Bolton, Jacob Middlebrooks, Corporal Christene Repp, Brandon Black, Spencer Maxwell and Joe Chaney. Honorary pallbearer will be Mikey Ingersoll. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at: ALZ.org or 225 N.
