Obituary of Eugene C. "Sid" Franklin

A memorial visitation for Mr. Eugene C. “Sid” Franklin is scheduled for Monday, March 7, 2022, from 4 PM - 5 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Franklin, a retired employee of International Paper Company, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the age of eighty-two. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. Mr. Franklin enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and was a member of the Bussey Bass Club. He also served his country in the Army National Guard. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Fran Turner Franklin and his daughter, Cindy Franklin. Funeral services for Mr. Franklin will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in the chapel of Proctor Funeral Home Camden, AR, under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR.
