I’m a Special Ed teacher from Brandon MS. Mr. Mike drove my students for years, so we were friends for years. I want y’all to know how much he meant to me and to my kids. He was always so patient and loving with the most difficult of students. He always gave me a hug when I needed them, he prayed for me and with me. We were all upset when he moved south, but he wanted to be near his family and I couldn’t fault him for that. He loved y’all and bragged on you daily. Please know that he was an amazing man, friend and bus driver. He gave me a cookie jar of his wife’s, that sits on my bakers rack and will for forever because every time I see it, I think of him and smile. He wanted me to have something that was special to him, so I would know how special I was to him. I always hoped and prayed that he truly understood how much he was loved up here in Brandon.

Uncle Mike… where do I even begin? I wish you didn’t leave us so soon, but I know Aunt Linda and your mom and dad and other siblings are all holding you so tight. They are so lucky. We love you so much & we will be holding it down until we get to see you again. Rest In Peace forever, sweet angel.
