Dustin still makes me smile today just thinking about how he lit up the room when he would walk in and smile. His smile was the prettiest I have ever seen and it was contagious cuz I would smile every time he was brought up in conv. Or showed up at his uncle David's or Lindsey's when I'd see him just his vibes didn't matter where or when he was always a joy to be around. My prayers go up for his family though I don't know you all he touched my heart the little time I knew him and I'll never forget that smile that brings smiles and tears everytime I remember him... I'm sorry soo so sorry for y'all's loss truly, Chelsea

My deepest condolences to the family. I served in Iraq with Dustin 2005-2007. Dustin was such a fun soldier to be around and I'll always remember he had such a deep belly laugh. I had many great memories of Sebren, and lots I don't remember, painting the town red in Killeen Texas and Fort Hood. From Spc. Westerhof 1/67Armor Mortar Platoon.

Dustin, my baby I’m so thankful for you and the joy your brought into my life. Your legacy lives on with Ollie and I promise to raise him to be a strong, kind-hearted, fun spirited, MAN OF GOD just like his daddy. I can’t fathom the days ahead without you but my rest comes from knowing that your are in a much better place, no longer fighting against the flesh and cutting up in heaven with your momma! ☺️ We love more than you know. We will see you again real soon… ❤️❤️❤️ Anna and Oliver

Dustin was the most selfless, patient, kind-hearted person I've ever met. He loved his grandmother Bernice and helped her every time he had a chance. He helped me with my business sometimes and wouldn't let me pay him. We talked about the Lord and he definitely knew that there was a God. I am so sorry to hear about this all he wanted to be was a dad. Praying for all your family in the days to come.

While I never knew Dustin, I understand that the world is a little dimmer without his presence. Tammy tells me something everyday about her kiddos, so I know just how much he was loved—how precious he was—how much he loved his family and son.
As you say your final goodbyes, know that I will be praying for your family. May God give each of you peace.
