I always admired Sue when we both worked in the school system. She was the best example of a Southern lady. Always gracious and kind, she met everyone with a smile. I am blessed to have known her.

I've know Sue since before my memories. We went to church at New Friendship. My Mother took Sue and Rozel Hightower to Ridgrest when Sue was a teenager. I spent the night with Sue and your Dad their first married year. My memory is an apartment uptown and I slept on the couch. Sue always visited my Mother on her birthday and spoke at my Mother's funeral. After my Mother's death, the first year she brought me a single rose on my birthday. Afterwards she sent a card every year until the last few years. It sadden me ( as I know it was for all of you) that she did not know who I was the last time I saw her. I understand your loss of a Mother. Dottie Messinger Fair
