Obituary of Vivian Mann

Vivian Mann, age 91, of Bastrop, LA passed away on July 25, 2022. She was born on August 28, 1930, to her parents, Sam and Lillie Hales. Vivian was a retired bookkeeper for Morehouse Parish City Hall. Vivian is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend. She was a dedicated Christian, who lived a life of service, going out of her way helping others, making them feel special and included. She loved to travel and enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and sewing all throughout her life. Her joy was her family and she was especially fond of her grandchildren. Her unconditional love, generosity and hospitality will be forever remembered by those who knew her. Survivors include her son, David Mann, daughter, Gail McQuade and husband, Paul, grandchildren, Christopher McQuade and wife, Rebekah, Eric McQuade and Luke McQuade, great grandson, Jackson McQuade and great granddaughter Ellie McQuade all of Hammond, LA, and many nephews and nieces. The visitation and service for Vivian will be held at Golden Funeral Home of Bastrop, 2016 East Madison Ave., Bastrop, LA on Monday, August 1. Visitation will be at 1pm and the service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be at Christ Church Cemetery, Marable Street, Bastrop, LA. Friends and family are welcome to join us as we honor and celebrate her life.
