Oh my, how we always enjoyed visiting with Uncle Don. He’d seen the world and lived in different cultures. He never failed telling us his adventures and we never failed to be intrigued. But his biggest adventure and first love was his family. What a great man the world has lost. What a great man heaven has gained. We love you Aunt Gloria and Donna and Dana.

Dear Gloria and Family,
Tjitske and I send our heartfelt condolences to you all on the passing of Don.
We have great memories of times spent with you both barbequing spareribs on the patios of our adjoining apartments in Bolton Court, Kuala Lumpur.
We also remember Don making sure that our daughter Juliette learned how to speak with a southern drawl.
Working alongside Don was always a pleasure; his smile and welcoming nature still stay in my mind.
May God bless you in these sad times.

Mrs. Nations, Donna, and Dana, I am so sorry for your loss! I will never forget your husband and father. He easily included me in your family dinners and events. I have never been able to look at the word "PEPSI" without thinking something totally different. I loved his sense of humor and I don't think I ever saw him not smiling. He made an impression on people around the world. I am glad to have known him. My heart goes out to you all at this time.
