In the mornings, we would get you changed and ready to go. Then you would fall back to sleep after momma or daddy started feeding you breakfast. If you didn’t fall back to sleep we would sit up in bed and watch Disney movies until you did. After you would fall back to sleep I would slip off to get dressed and get your car seat ready to go. You would normally stay asleep the until you touched the back of that car seat.
Once your back hit that car seat, your eyes would pop wide open and that nose would squinch up and you would just star at me like you were boring a hole thru my chest. You wouldn’t scream but you were not happy to be woke by that car seat. You looked just like your momma when I wake her in the mornings . . . Not happy. Until I would tell you how much Daddy loves you then I would lean over and give you Eskimo kisses. After I did this, your frown would turn into smiles and coos every single time. Those little hands would reach up to grab me and pull me i, telling me how much you loved me. Dadda loves you little Boo Bear. I love you.
