LOVE AND PRAYERS FOR ALL THE FAMILY!!!!
MY FUNNIEST MEMORY OF DANNY WAS THE TIME I THOUGHT HE HAD MY DADDY JAMES DEBLIEUX PULLED OVER AT MATHENY BROS. HE WAS WALKING AROUND HIS TRUCK AND TRAILER WITH A CLIP BOARD IN HAND AND I WHIPPED UP IN THERE TO SAY I KNOW YOUR NOT GIVING MY DADDY A TICKET AND THEN HE LOOKED AT MY CAR AND SAID LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE AN EXPIRED INSPECTION STICKER AND THEY BOTH STARTING LAUGHING AT ME. HE WAS HELPING MY DADDY BE ABLE TO GET TAGS FOR A TRAILER THAT DADDY HAD MADE.
HE CERTAINLY WAS A JEWEL IN MOREHOUSE PARISH AND WILL BE MISSED BY ALL !!!!!!!

Danny was and will forever be my first friend. From the time when I was 5 and he was 7, we were practically inseparable. For two boys growing up together living on a dead end road, there was always the potential for adventure and occasionally some mischief. Our childhood was spent largely wading creeks, hunting, fishing, riding bikes, and countless other activities boys did back in the day.
I don't recall a single unpleasant memory or thought when I reflect on those days so long ago...I had a great childhood largely because of Danny .
To the love of his life Cindy, and to Casey and all his precious family and friends I offer my deepest sympathy for the loss of such a great man...and a great great friend...

I went to Prairie View Academy with Danny. He was such a nice person and was always full foolishness. I always thought so much of Danny even though our paths did not cross after school. I am praying for all of the family for their loss of such a special person.

I grew up hunting with Mr Danny, on Tillou. Since I left the club, hunting around him has been one of the very few things I miss about hunting Tillou. He was as genuinely good of a man as humanly possible and will definitely be missed.

I have many wonderful childhood memories with Danny. Sleepovers at his house and getting up early to go hunting with him and Uncle George then coming back and playing baseball in their front yard. Growing up and having our own families but knowing that every year during the holidays that we would see each other at Grandma's. Danny was not only my cousin but my friend. Our hearts are broken for Cindy, Casey and all the family and friends who will miss him greatly. The only comfort we have at this time is knowing that he is at peace and through our faith in Christ that we will be together again.

Danny and Cindy both are two of the sweetest people i have ever known. My heart is broken to get this news, but Danny is not gone, he is right around the corner. Before we know it we will be right there with him, in God's loving arms. He was an outstanding Trooper, Sheriff, husband, father and grandfather. Just an exceptional Man. Our prayers are with all of Danny's family and friends.

Danny was a friend and one of the best sheriffs Morehouse Parish ever had. You will be missed by so many. Tell Elouise hi for me and thank you making me feel safe from an abusive husband when you were sheriff. You were always there and never let me down. Until we meet again friend.

Mr. Danny was a very kind man. He always had a smile and a kind word for me any time we saw each other. One of my favorite memories of him was him stopping to talk to me while he was riding his golf cart or side by side around the neighborhood. He never failed to wave or stop and talk. He will certainly be missed. Praying for the family.

Q: How did you meet George W. "Danny"?
A: I had the honor of being Danny's dispatcher as we worked together with the Louisiana State Police. He always had a good attitude, even with me wearing on his last nerve. Thank you for your service and friendship. Much love brother.
