Esther was my neighbor across the street. She and my Mom were close and Esther watched out for me more than once, sort of like a second big sister. After I suffered a concussion in the gym, it was Esther who took note of my dazed condition and drove me home. She was kind, funny, and a great part of our lives. God rest your beautiful soul, Esther.
