Obituary of Bobby Allen Goodwin

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Allen Goodwin are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at First Assembly of God with Bro. Dusty Walker officiating. A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Goodwin, a deacon at First Assembly of God Church for over sixty years, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the age of ninety-one. He retired from Angus Chemical Company and then later retired from Bob’s Appliance as an Air Conditioner repairman. Mr. Goodwin loved hunting, fishing, and camping with family. He also enjoyed driving across America in his motor home. He is survived by his daughter, Becky Isom and husband Scott; son, Robby Goodwin and wife Resa; daughter-in-law, Dawn Goodwin; grandchildren, John Anderson and wife Cheri, Jessica Sicking and husband Aaron, Rikki Jones and husband Dustin, Dillon Austin Goodwin, and Josh Goodwin; great grandchildren, Savannah, Eli, Evan, Miley, and Maddox. Mr. Goodwin is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Goodwin; sons, Gary Goodwin and Kevin Goodwin; father, Roy Roscoe Goodwin; mother, Ruby Thrift Clark; sister, Alna Dean Smith; and niece, Juanita (Susie) Smith.
