My dear sweet mother there are so many memories we shared and so so many good times. I will always have that forever. All the many things we talked about and did, some crazy ,some fun and even some we would like to forget. My heart is hurting so bad for your touch and words to keep me in check. I never could see or know you would leave me so fast. But I know that you would tell me to put my big girl panties on and keep it together and for that I did. I will always see you in my heart. I love you My Angel. Tell daddy to take your hand and show you the most beautiful place in heaven. God is the most great thing of all. I will always keep my faith knowing I will see y'all again someday. All my love Anita( Susie Q)

I was most saddened when I learned of Tina's passing. She worked as a teacher's aide for me in Bonita many years ago. When I reflect on those days and her assistance, I always smile as she was always willing and eager to help me and my students.
I will always be thankful for the sweet memories I have of her. Praying for the family as losing one's mother is indeed life changing

My dear friend, I will miss you. We spent our lives keeping up with each other with long phone calls and picture exchanges. In high school you were a prime basketball opponent, and a beautiful young woman. I was there when you married my brother. You became an astounding mother and grandmother. Your children and grandchildren reflect all of your kindness and thoughtfulness. You were very proud of them. You live on in their hearts, as you will in mine.
Goodbye for now. God bless and keep you close.

I am so very sorry to hear of Tina's passing, she was a wonderful woman and I have many fond memories of spending time with her and the whole family. One of my most favorite memories is her teaching me how to quilt! Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
Love, "Aunt Susan"

I wish I still had some photos. I'm sure they exist on an old polaroid somewhere.
I HAVE a great love for this woman. She was an amazing mother to her children, and raised a literal army of McCready grandchildren. She made sure of their success too. She guided, and helped when and where she could.
The nieces and nephews (that's me) saw it too.
Christmas and Thanksgiving afternoons, at Aunt Tina's were a festival. The heaters were lit and the TV was loud. The food was prepared, and the conversations were meaningful.
Memories of the past, gossip about and around the town... These were the things we shared every holiday and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
Some of my fond memories were of my dear Uncle Orville giving me terrible love advice, when I was a teenager. She would yell at him and tell him to hush his dang mouth about it. She knew he'd ruin me as he sat at the table smoking cigarettes, with a wicked but sarcastic grin. He loved it. He loved getting her riled up, but if I'm being honest, I think she loved it too.
They were a pair. You never got just one with them.
I'll always remember working at Walmart with her. She would always slip me a coke or a candy bar, even if I was on a diet. When we got a chance to complain about Walmart or Alltel together, we did it right in the open, laughing right in the aisle.
As those old polaroids fade, remember the things that matter folks, Tina McCready was a heck of a woman and a memory worth holding on to.

My condolences to the family of Mrs. Tina. She was a second mom to me and bunch of other guys when we were running with Clifton and Jay in high school. Many a weekend spent at their house, where she made sure we were staying out of trouble. She will always be a part of my memories of growing up. Much love to Clifton, Jay, and Anita.

I wanted you to know some of the things that first come to mind when thinking of Aunt Tina. The blanket Aunt Tina quilted for Charlene's and my wedding still covers our bed, 31 years later. That's quality workmanship! I remember as a child collecting corn husks for her, so she could make tamales for your family and ours. Sad thing is, we ate them all too quick.
I pray that the Lord watch over your family and grant you peace within your hearts. With Love, Ricky Lynn.
