Obituary of Tina Marie McCready

Funeral services for Tina Marie McCready are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, April 6, 2023, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Bonita Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 5 PM – 7 PM at Goldens. Mrs. McCready, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the age of seventy-eight. She was a retired Retail Claims Associate and had several hobbies including: quilting, sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She was known for being a “Night Owl”, as she often enjoyed watching movies on into the night, and also enjoyed traveling. Mrs. McCready loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Pierre and husband, Willie, of Bastrop, LA; sons, Orvel L. McCready, Jr. “Jay” and wife, Renee, of Bastrop, LA, and Clifton R. McCready and wife, Cindy, of Newnan, GA; brothers, Cary Wyatt and wife, Dixie, of Crossett, AR, and Gary Wyatt of Gruetli-Laager, TN; grandchildren, Jessica and husband, Doug, Jennifer and husband, Michael, Jerrica, Jennica, Lee, James and wife, Skyler, Alex, Natalie, Andrew, Becky, and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Hadleigh, Hoyt, Rylan, Reise, and Dawsyn. Mrs. McCready is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Marie Wyatt; husband, Orvel Lee McCready, Sr.; brothers, Ralph Wyatt and Ricky Wyatt; and sister-in-law, Linda Wyatt.
