Gary you will be forever missed! Your smile, your candor, your friendliness, kindness, your generosity, your love for Cindy and family, your pure heart will be missed by this world!
I'm thankful I had you in my life and the blessings you and Cindy bestowed upon my life! They will ever be with me as they have helped me, encouraged me and strengthened me in my walk in this life!
Honestly quite jealous you are at peace from the chaos we are living in - so very thankful for the memories of your kindness and stable personality!

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I can say, it's not only your loss, but a loss for so very many people who was Blessed to know Gary. It's so hard to believe he's gone. Gary was one of a kind, so caring and uplifting to anyone around him. It was only a day or so ago he had a picture on himself on Facebook showing a wonderful plate of food HE had cooked. I recall joking with him, asking if he thought Cindy might loan him to me for a day or two, just to judge his cooking ability. Ha, ha.. My heart is heavy for your loss. He was a wonderful person and will always be remembered.

Gary was a good friend. All through high school he there joining us in the good times we had and the mischief we got in to. When I would come home on leave from the military we would get together. He was very proud of the fact he got to be in the movie Urban Cowboy. I know he had to have cursed in his life but I can’t recall once of him doing that. Gary was proud of his family and rightfully so. He is a friend, a companion, a father and a husband. He will be sorely missed.

Gary was a light, a wonderful presence and blessing to all who knew him. He had that certain “something” that drew people to him. The world was a happier place with him here and he will be surely missed by all.

What can I say about this wonderful friend that I have been blessed to know since 8th grade!! Gary is the brother I never had, my best friend in high school. He loved life itself, funny, would do things to make you laugh. One time the football players had to dress up, so he wore a flannel gown, a bra we stuffed, wig, make up the whole 9 yards so to speak. He was always up to something. He even took home economics and sewed a shirt and baked cookies. He cared about your feelings and would try to make things better for you if you were having a bad day. Even when Cindy and he moved to Texas we would try and stay in touch, mostly by text. Sometimes a call. He made this world a better place. People that never got a chance to meet him just didn't know what they missed. He loved all of his family and friends. He is going to be terribly missed by all. There is no doubt that he is with Jesus. And that we will see him again someday. No illnesses of any kind, completely well. Cindy, Brooke, Cody and family/ friends you all are in our prayers. I truly believe that Gary made a difference in this world and also in the lives he touched along the way. Every time I think of him or something he did it makes my heart smile.
Know that we love you all❤️❤️ Jerry and Judy Hilton

I am so sorry for your families loss. I met Gary back in the early to mid 90’s when I was a young kid considering a future career in law enforcement and he was heading up the MPSO Explorer program. I remember riding with Gary in the old Chevy caprice patrol car on a night shift as an Explorer and being in awe of how he handled complaints and interacted with people. You couldn’t help but like Gary and he will be greatly missed.

Less than a week ago you, Cindy, Beverly & I were laughing and talking. You asked if I remembered you — of course I did! Thank you for remembering me!
By faith, I can see you now, head thrown back, belting out the words to that one song the Angels cannot sing — the song of the REDEEMED! See you soon, brother!
