Funeral services for Mr. Wayne A. Gray, age 61, are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Tony Campanale officiating. Interment will follow in Mer Rouge Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from noon to 2 PM, service time at Goldens.
Mr. Gray, a member of Greenacres Baptist Church, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023. He loved music and he especially loved playing the guitar. He had a kind heart and was always available to help a friend. He enjoyed playing on his boat, swimming and skiing, and never wanted to go anywhere without his motorcycle.
He is survived by his daughters, Chassidy Anderson and husband Charles, Stephaney Viereck; mother of his children, Lisa Gray; step-mother, Margie Gray; brothers, Elton Gray and wife Cheryl, Lewin Gray and wife Cansis; grandchildren, Makenzy Viereck, Charlie Wayne Anderson, Ivy Bridges, Teal’c Anderson and Jazlyn Bridges.
Mr. Gray is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Rachel Gray; brothers, Robert Gray and Von Thomas Gray.
Serving as pallbearers will be Benjamin Gray, Nicholas Gray, Charles Anderson, Thomas Hill, Wesley Gray, and Keaton Gray. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Lindburg, Alex Smith, Preston Smith, Charlie Anderson, and Brandon Smith.
