We have a friend, Joan Johnston, who entered the gates of heaven Monday. She was greeted by a band of angels. When the angels appeared, she said don't make such a fuss its only me. She was humble, caring and empathetic. She prayed for everyone, especially her family. Don't know how many prayer chains she started and was a part of. I know it made a difference in all our lives and lives of others. She loved animals and even prayed for our Cocoa. She was kind and grateful for everything and lived a life of service. In a world of thoroughbreds and zebras she overlooked our differences and loved unconditionally. She loved to cook and made the best banana pudding with meringue topping, Her life wasn't without hardship and tragedy. You don't lose 2 sons, great grandsons, brothers and a husband without losing faith or becoming stronger in faith as she did. Mrs. Joan's family is amazing, there is no jealousy, envy, anger, towards one another only kindness and love. She will be missed by everyone. She made a difference in our lives, to be closer to and follow Jesus. Until we see Jesus we will meet again Dear Friend. Paul & Celia
