Obituary of Shirley Ann Bonner Tyson

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Bonner Tyson are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Goodwill Church of God with Bro. David Ford officiating. A time of visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 AM - 11 AM service time at the church. Services will be under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Tyson, a member of Goodwill Church of God and a retired Forest High School Cafeteria employee, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the age of seventy-five. She loved her family and had a heart for others. Mrs. Tyson was a wonderful care giver to those in need. She was also a member of Goodwill Volunteer Fire Department. She is survived by her brothers, James “Bud” Bonner and wife, Debbie, Jimmy Ray Bonner, Willie R. Bonner, Clarence Mitchell Bonner; sister-in-law, Lilly Bonner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tyson is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Tyson; parents, Owen T. “Pete” and Laverne Sullivan Bonner; and brother, Charles Wayne Bonner. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Petey Raymond, Little Petey Raymond, Dennis Ray Bonner, Tommy Bonner, Larry McCullough, and Derek Bonner.
