Mr. Nicholas “Cowboy” Mindling, of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the age of sixty. He was the retired owner and operator of Mindling Construction. Mr. Mindling loved fishing, horses, and anything that was outdoors. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of Sons of Liberty Riders, A.B.A.T.E. of Louisiana, Inc., and also rode with Patriot Guard Riders.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Vicki Gregory of Bastrop, LA; son, Brandon “B.K.” Mindling of Lubbock, TX; special step children from his second marriage; Alicia Riveria Diaz of San Antonia, TX, Noel Diaz, of San Antonia, TX, Bobby Diaz of Eagle Pass, TX; sister, Josie Mindling of Hobbs, NM; brother, Christopher Mindling of Waco, TX; grandchildren, Jayden Cade Mindling, Natalie Faith Mindling, and Aaliyah Mindling.
Mr. Mindling is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Loretta Mindling; and brother, Michael “Anthony” Mindling.
