Obituary of Laci Adonia Jones

Funeral services for Laci Adonia Jones, age 42, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, August 2, 2024, at Victory Tabernacle with Bro. Kevin Sanders and Bro. Chad Craft officiating. Visitation will be held at Victory Tabernacle Thursday, August 1, from 5 PM until 8 PM. Laci loved her church and singing, as she served as the minister of music at Victory Tabernacle. She enjoyed reading, cooking, singing, and playing piano. Laci also worked at the Department of Motor Vehicle for ten years. She is survived by her parents, Dedrea A. Jones; Ricky Jones and Debra Jones; grandfather, Henry Kopszywa, Jr; siblings, Kaci Nicole Hynes and Johnathan, John “Bo” Jones and Ashli, Tiffany Ditzenberger and Matt, Erica Nichols and Nick; nieces and nephews, Autumn, Dillon, Jackson, Margaret, John Daniel, Gavin, Madelaine, Gregory, Laiken, Lakota, and Loxleigh. Ms. Jones is preceded in death by her father, John T. Jones; paternal grandparents, Glover and Margaret Jones; and maternal grandmother, Barbara Kopszywa. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Dillon Hynes, Matt Ditzenberger, Johnathan Hynes, Joseph Fuller, Bentley Fuller, and John “Bo” Jones. The Bible says David was a man after God’s own heart. I know that can be said of her. She walked with God and prayed for us all. So don’t let her prayer go to waste. Let’s make preparations to be with her and Jesus when our time comes.
