Obituary of Bobby Wall

Funeral services for Mr Bobby Wall, age 75, are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, October 11, 2024, at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Randy McLarrin officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Goldens. Mr. Wall was a resident of Oak Grove, LA, for 15 years before moving back to Bastrop, LA, and he was the owner of Bobby Wall Roofing and Construction as well as Cherokee Enterprises for over 65 years. He was awarded “Most Outstanding Young Man in America” in 1979 and he was a member of the Jaycee Janes in Oak Grove for many years. He enjoyed spending time at his camp on the Ouachita River, watching westerns, playing guitar, singing, and making his award winning salsa that everyone loved. He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Wall Ohmstede and husband, August of Baton Rouge, LA, Tracy Nichole Wall of Oak Grove, LA, Mary Katherine Haskins and husband, Eric of Rogers, AR; son, Michael Wayne Waller of Bastrop, LA; sister, Shirley Murphy and husband, Buddy of Hamburg, AR; brother, Jimmy Wall and wife, Judy of Sterlington, LA; step-brothers, Frank Wayne Wall of Bastrop, LA, Mark Shane Wall of Bastrop, LA; half-brother, Jamie Thane Wall of Bastrop, LA; sister-in-law, Linda Wood; grandchildren, Bryce Ohmstede and wife, Peyton, Cameron Ohmstede, August Young Ohmstede, Jake Wall, Caleb Waller, Aiden Waller, James, Lingefelt, Josh Jones, Leighton Navarro, Gracie Waller, Caemma Haskins, Kiren Brown, Ethan Haskins; nieces and nephews, Alice Powell, Chasity Wall, Matt Wall, Felecia Wall, Brandy Knowles, Hillary Porter, Brandon Wall, Rick Wall, Bill Wall, Angela Stephens, Amber Wall, Jeremy Murphy, Whitney Tyson, and Haley Tyson. Mr. Wall is preceded in death by his, wife, Angelina Hogan Wall; parents, James Wall and Marie Franks; sister, Helen Diane Wall; brothers, Roger Dale Wall and Kurt Wall; nephew, Michael Burnett; and his best friend, “Squirrel Shot”. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryce Ohmstede, Cameron Ohmstede, August Young Ohmstede, Aiden Waller, Josh Jones and Jake Wall. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Vernon, Rodney Posey and Robbie Franklin.
