My dear friend Rose Anne will forever have a place in my heart. I was one of the lucky ones. Lucky enough to call her a friend, a sister and a big part of why we have a Wolf Pack!
I will miss your phone calls and text messages, our time together with the pack, planning for the next trip, sitting by the pool/ocean, sipping a Bushwhacker, watching you order from your iPad or phone…who would have thought that there was a right way and wrong way to swipe and order something on your device.
And that one phrase….BUT ANYWAYS! Every time I hear someone say that phrase I will giggle and know that you are close by!
May you rest in peace! You will be forever missed!

Rose Anne was my Kappa Kappa Gamma little sister at UALR, and let me tell you, she was a force of nature from the first time I met her at the Kappa house during rush. We also played on the UALR tennis team together. She came to Little Rock as an 18 year old freshman and lived by herself in an apartment near school. Heck, I couldn't even make it to Fayetteville with my best friends when I was a freshman! The beauty of sorority sisterhood is evidenced in the bond we shared for a lifetime. Despite going our separate ways as adults, we kept in touch sporadically over the years. Several years ago, she contacted me and we, along with our sorority sister, Sue Ann Wheeler Hall, reconnected and spent some cherished, quality time together in the past few years...ALL because Rose Anne set things in motion! For this, I will ALWAYS be grateful!
Prayers, hugs and love to her husband, Mike, who is a wonderful man who treated Rose Anne like the princess she was and the queen she became. Mike's devotion to her for 40 years and especially in the year since she became ill was exactly what God meant for husbands to be and also, to her kids, Erin, Christine, and Doug and their families as y'all navigate the future without her. She loved y'all BIG!
Rest easy, Rose Anne!

Rose Anne was a lifelong friend since elementary school (some 50+ years ago) as she, me and her sister Mary Nelda spent numerous hours playing at each other's houses and the country club. We reconnected years later as our kids became friends and danced together. She was a witty person who never met a stranger. She loved her family and they were the center of her world. She will be deeply missed by everyone but we each have our special memories of her that will forever shine.
